The HR Generalist drives and executes the organisation's human resources by planning and implementing employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

1. Provide expert advice and guidance to Managers and Team Leaders on people management, employment, and industrial relations matters.
2. Execute all related recruitment, selection, and onboarding of all new employees.
3. Assist with competency-based interviews.
4. Attend all disciplinary and dispute hearing internally in capacity of HR.
5. Ensure compliance with all employment and labour law requirements including but not limited to employment contracts, employment equity, workplace health, industrial relations, in respect of terms of registration, documentation, reporting, systems, and procedures.
6. Train and coach line managers in respect of IR practices.
7. Facilitate all matters relating to dealings with employee committees.
8. Conduct face-to-face exit interviews, investigate, and highlight areas for improvement within the business.
9. Coordinate the performance management process as well as collection of all performance agreements.
10. Complete Employment Equity documents and submit online.
11. Ensure proper HR record keeping in line with good practice and labour legislation.
