Digital Marketing Strategist

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: As a Digital Marketing Strategist your primary objective will be to optimise the digital marketing footprint for each of the brands within the group, with the ultimate goal of building the brands and generating leads in the most optimal ways across the most effective platforms. You will be required to use a mix of innovative, creative and tech-savvy approaches to identify trends before they peak, and use those insights to implement digital marketing and promotional strategies.

A) Digital Marketing Strategic Planning and Development
• Leading ongoing management of all digital marketing touch points
• Researching products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities
• Developing strategies using all necessary tools and platforms across these Digital Marketing spectrums:
o Digital Advertising, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, Search Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Community Management and Copywriting
• Applying knowledge of tech-savvy products and market goals in digital marketing strategies and plans.
• Setting appropriate targets and building strategies to help achieve them

B) Digital Marketing Programmes and Campaigns
• Planning, developing and executing digital marketing programmes and campaigns to improve lead quality and beat the competition, including but not limited to online advertising, SEO, email communications, website strategy and design, social media and mobile.
• Keeping up-to-date with our various target audience’s preferences and proactively suggesting new campaigns
• Taking management oversight of all paid digital channels
• Creating and testing Ad copy for operational efficiency and optimal lead generation
• Communicating with team members on campaign developments, timelines, and results

C) Digital Marketing Optimisation
• Establishing best practices in digital marketing for all group brands
• Liaising with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimise customer experience and ensure brand consistency
• Creating and optimizing landing pages to increase signups
• Applying In-depth knowledge of SEO and AdWords programs for optimisation of the websites and campaigns
• Staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing technologies developments and opportunities

D) Digital Marketing Analytics
• Owning and maintaining site and platform analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting
• Setting up mechanisms to measure multiple campaigns across many online channels and monitoring KPIs. and performing data analysis around key metrics
• Performing data analysis around key metrics and suggesting solutions to boost performance:
• Drawing meaningful conclusions from campaign data and identifying potential opportunities for improvement
• Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics
• Monitoring SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends
• Monitoring competition and providing suggestions for improvement
