The role assumes the responsibility for ensuring that the formative and summative student assessments are timeously and accurately processed for publishing of student results, as well as to ensure that high standards of service delivery are maintained at both client and contractor level. (NB: The Assessment Administrator role does not pertain to the marking and moderation of student assessments, which is exclusively an academic department function.) Responsibilities Administration and support for the assessment processesTo assist with the administration and support functions of assessment results processing, including the coordination of markers and moderators in conjunction with the academic departments for all public and Learnership programmes.Good relationships with clients, contractors, and colleaguesTo uphold good relationships with our clients and contractors, including markers and moderators and Milpark colleagues.To ensure that no complaints regarding service or performance are received from clients and students. Ensure that internal and external client concerns are addressed timeously.Ensure that the appropriate communication and documenting of concerns and queries takes place in order to facilitate workflow between departments.Accurate processing of resultsEnsure that all deadlines pertaining to release of results are adhered to according to the Processing planner/critical dates and timetables.Ensure that all students results are captured accurately and correctly as documented in the Assessment Processing Guide. Assist with compiling of assessment reports as and when required.Ensure that prescribed processes and procedures, including that of marking and moderation, as documented in the Assessment Processing Guide are followed for accurate production of all results related documentation and presentation to the results committee for sign-off.Ensure that all results related queries are followed up timeously and resolved prior to release of results.Ensure that all documentation provided to academic departments for further action is presented accurately and according to prescribed procedure. Ensure that quality checks are done before and after release of results.Office AdministrationEnsure that correct examination registers are generated and provided to Student Delivery Department (Logistics) as per the schedule provided.Assist with all aspects of the department as and when required e.g. registration processing, archive filing, telephonic enquiries, graduation assistance, etcAssist with all aspects of the business when required e.g. SSD assistance, reception assistance, logistics, etc.Ensure solid knowledge and understanding of academic and administrative policies and procedures relating to assessment processing.Ensure all formative assessments are packed and ready to be sent for offsite scanning preferably before release of results according to deadlines on the Processing plannerGeneral Office Administration including:oFilingoWeekly ReportsoArchivingSelf-DevelopmentThe Assessment Administrators should be passionate about Milpark and its ServicesThe Milpark set of Values should be prevalent in all conduct by the Assessment AdministratorThe Assessment Administrators should be committed to continuous self-improvement The Assessment Administrator should take ownership for the modules managed and ensure all tasks ae complete within the timeframes allocated.
