Contributes to the Procurement Department goals by supporting the overall Procurment Department in the execution of its strategies and standard operating procedures which are designed to deliver value to Telesure Investment Holdings. Data ManagementHelp others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice. Effective supplier master data management through execution of new supplier loading and existing supplier data maintenance processes. Ensure achievement of the companys BBBEE objective with regards to preferential procurement as well as compliance to the Code of Good Practice (BEE Certificate Management, Periodic Scorecard Reporting, Legislative Updates and Adhoc Analysis and Reporting).ProcurementAchieve specific procurement goals or provide support to others while following established procurement systems and protocols.Support the Purchase Order process (catalogue creation, maintenance and expediting). Support the Procurement Manager and Senior Manager to execute source to pay lifecycle processes (understanding the business need, identifying the appropriate souring approach, supplier identification, supplier evaluation and selection and final commercial and contract negotiation across multiplecategories).Contract ManagementCarry out simple contract management tasks. Support the Procurement and Senior Manager in finalizing Supplier Agreements with existing and new Suppliers in conjunction with the Legal Compliance Team. Carry out Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities on allocated Suppliers.Data Collection & AnalysisProduce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.Independent analysis and understanding of business expenditure relating to external service providers in order to drive cost efficiencies for the business and ensure quality services are delivered to internal and external clients.Information and Business AdviceResolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring complex issues to others.Operational ComplianceFollow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct. Support the Procurement Manager and Senior Manager in the execution of RFx processes (RFI, RFPs, RFQs), ensuring adherence to compliance standards in accordance to company procurement requirements and procedures in awarding new and existing business on an on-going basis. Develop understanding of business processes, needs and requirements in order to award business based on compliance requirements contained in the Requests For Proposals and best practice.Personal Capability BuildingDevelop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
