CHAPS is one of the largest and proudly South African non-government organisations (NGO) focused on voluntary male circumcision (VMMC) as HIV prevention on the African continent. Through its pioneering work in the research and promotion of voluntary medical male circumcision scale-up activities, CHAPS has successfully implemented and disseminated sustainable evidence-based health solutions throughout South Africa and the region, CHAPS seeks to appoint an Enrolled Nurse, based at Bojanala District Bafokeng CHC NB: Successful candidate will be based at Bafokeng CHC.You will be responsible for:Clinical Male Medical Circumcision (MMC) procedures and related activities as required in the day-to-day implementation of the Programme. To integrate TB/HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care services (eg HCT, STI management, Psychosocial assessment and relevant referrals) into the MMC package of services. Maintenance of a healthy, non-hazardous clinical and surgical environment for patients, fellow staff members as well as visitors to the clinicTo participate in research studies as part of the VMMC Programme innovationsAdministrative tasks will include support with opening of clients files and ensuring that all clients are screened for COVID-19 and documented on screening registers Liaise with external and internal customersObtain and accurately document informed consent forms from participantsAdminister other data collection instruments as required (including but not limited to):Assessment of understanding, risk assessment questionnaires, or any other interviews documentationComplete, compile and submit relevant clinic data formsEnsure the ethical, timely, accurate, confidential, and courteous processing of Programme Ensure accuracy of clients/patients data and files documentation.LIAISE WITH EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL CUSTOMERS Liaise with all Internal Customers and External Customers and Suppliers when necessary towards the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.OUTPUT HUMAN CAPITALComply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislationReport all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human ResourcesAdhere and maintain Decision making authority as allocated to the positionParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goalsProvide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
