Key Responsibilities Strategy managementPeople Management and DevelopmentLead the buying business process for FootwearTrend ForecastingOptimise profitabilitySupplier management, sourcing suppliers and productsLeading the Buying teamSystems and business process support and developmentMarket research and competition analysisBudget controlRequired Knowledge, Skills and CompetenciesRelevant Degree or Diploma in Purchasing Management or ClothingComputer literacy5 years buying and leadership experience, preferably in different footwear departmentsExtensive retail knowledge and experienceFinancial management skills; In-depth understanding of the buying process; Understanding of the planning process; Knowledge of the Supply chain processes; Market understanding; Product knowledge, and Sound business and commercial acumen & judgmentCompetencies: Market orientation, Performing under pressure, Innovating, Helicopter view, Leadership skills, Decision-making abilities, Presentation skills; Negotiation skills; Meeting facilitation skillsClosing date: Wednesday, 15 September 2021 If you are interested and meet the minimum requirements, please submit your CV and supporting documentation.
