The following positions have become available as part of the various projects currently being run by us and you are welcome to apply should you meet the requirements of the position. 3.1.Work DescriptionThe Project Co-ordinator is a member of a Project Management Team responsible to administer, organise and coordinate the TB and HIV Prevention Project, ie TB LON project ensuring that the objectives are met and keeping the Project organised and running smoothly.3.2.Technical Work ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is assigned all or part of the following responsibilities that are performed according to the needs and agenda:The Project Coordinator will be the project lead at site level of implementation of the TB LON project in West Coast District with support from the Area Manager. S/He must have in-depth understanding of clinical management of Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV clients as well as experience in health care systems in resource-limited settings for public health delivery.He/ She will proactively support all capacity building activities/ workshops for TB LON implementing sites to enhance the effective implementation of planned activities needed to generate data and information. Provide technical advice on TB holistic clinical management and TB prevention strategies.Work closely with and supervise project staff at implementation sites and ensure the strategic and functional integration of all technical areas needed for smooth implementationConduct monthly supportive supervision visits to sites to provide on-site coaching of Linkages Officers and Community Health Workers whilst solving emerging challenges with implementationEnsure timely and quality completion of all project technical deliverables at sites and report in accordance with project guidelinesSupport the Area manager, M&E Manager, the TB LON project team members in monitoring and evaluation and provision of technical assistance to implementing sites
