The purpose of the Warehouse Manager is to be accountable for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Warehouse operations through managing the warehouse, ensuring customer service, developing and maintaining operational budgets and people management. Warehouse ManagementAccountable for the effective operation of the warehouse through evaluating warehouse data and communicating and implementing solutions that ensures that the warehouse objectives are metIntroduce continuous improvement culture, and continually seek to improve on performance and standardsMentor and grow the warehouse leadership teamEvaluate and implement solutions that will improve efficiency in the warehouse based on people, process, and systemsEnsure all policies and procedures are kept up to date, are communicated and implemented at all times.Customer Service Ensure Supervisors deal with customer service requests promptly and resolve escalated issues.Drive customer centricity mindset within Warehouse, as a key enabler to Sales, and service excellence.Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and sent to dispatch on a daily basis. This will require continuous evaluation of people, process and systems.Financial Budgets and PlanningFormulate department budget, conduct operative planning, develop and use various reporting tools to facilitate the department planning and controllingWork to achieve all financial expense objectivesAnalyse activities and spend to identify optimisation opportunities, which should then be project managed till successful executionPeople ManagementCommunicate departmental objectives to Managers and monitor progress on implementation.Develop and drive high performance culture within the Warehouse.Accountable for the development of employees in department according to skills development strategy.Accountable for fair recruitment and selection practices in departments .Recruit and select new employees by following relevant HR policies and Procedures. Investigate escalated disciplinary issues within the team and initiate disciplinary action.SHERQ + Governance & ComplianceAccountable for the compliance to company safety policies and proceduresAccountable for effective management of Bond Store, and compliance to all legal requirementsSupport achievement of ISO accreditation, and ongoing maintenance thereafterWork collaboratively with Risk department and Inventory to minimise stock losses
