Job PurposeTo analyse & interpret internal and external data and use it to build compelling stories that clearly highlight areas of opportunity and threat for The Beverage Company to deliver market intelligence and sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage, and corporate reputation.To play a key role in coordinating the process and timely delivery of new product development across all Private Label and Pepsi brands. Key Accountabilities and Outputs1. Market Data ManagementCompile, analyse, interpret, and present sales, market share and market data.Sharing market knowledge with internal customers and, at times, external customers.Coordinating monthly reports and internal reporting.Manage, measure & report product distribution & availability.Compile monthly price survey tracking with regions.Managing outsourced syndicated data service providers and ROI on these.Drive analysis of consumer, category, and customer information to develop compelling business building recommendations to customers.Market data currently includes:oInternal Sales DataoNielsen scan data (including PFM channel) o Nielsen Consumer Panel datao Massmart data via Tableau o BMi Datao Executraco Other ad-hoc sources of external data2.Trade Marketing Support & AdministrationCoordinating trade marketing activities and tools, monthly reports, and internal reporting.Support Trade Marketing with day-to-day tasks, such as:oListings & Speed to Market measurement o Development of Pricing Strategyo Share of Voice reporting o Portfolio Analysiso Customer Review developmento Development & Refining of In-Trade Execution GuidelinesDevelopment of Trade Toolkits, inclusive of NPD Trade PresentersConsumer and Shopper Propositions derived through insight and category analysis.Coordination of all POS requirements for specific campaigns related to channel plans by brand.3. NPD Project Coordination & Process ManagementCoordinating all new product development projects across (a) all Private Label brands, and (b) the Pepsi portfolioEnsuring all NPD team members are clear on the status of each project, as well as the actions required in order to deliver projects on timeInternal communication around NPD projects, such as ensuring production plants are clear on requirements, and managing project master dataPreparation of all data required for Gate Documents
