Operating as an independent service provider, the agency creates, drives and services, Educors strategic portfolios, target market research and development, above, below and through the line advertising and all other marketing related functions.Educor has a strong heritage of educational excellence delivered through its face to face and distance learning channels and is fast establishing itself as a leader in the print, online and virtual spaces.With an intimate understanding of the South African market and internationally, the agency directs the organisations strategic focus with regards to recruitment strategies, brand positioning and develops its retention strategies. Through both anecdotal and secondary research, the agency gains a thorough understanding of each of the markets it serves with its present focus being the international student.Being able to identify, relate to and understand consumer nuances and communication using the subtleties of each countrys colloquial language, the agency is able to position each brand as the next door neighbour and not a beyond our borders service provider. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Assist in the day to day administrative tasks that accompany the Media Buying and Planning Function. Manage the Media Creditor Payment ProcessKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:Ensure Direct Marketing advertisements are placed and booked in the appropriate magazines/ newspapers or other media in accordance with the Monthly Media Plan and Schedule.Evaluate success of ad placement from a repro and positioning perspective and administer Media Creditor Payment ProcessMaintain the libraryGeneral Administrative dutiesCritical KPIs for the media buyer/ planner role: 1.Engage with digital media houses on latest innovations, platforms and discounts and brand opportunities 2.Present digital proposals to HOA and Head of brand for ongoing marketing campaigns and adhoc campaigns 3.Identify and present lead generating digital advertising opportunities and present to HOA as monthly plans, ensuring we can optimise marketing campaigns timeously 4.Liaise with all digital media stakeholders for procurement: Quotes and invoicing 5.Understand all booking schedules and present back to HOA/ Operations Manager for approval opportunities 6.Provide updates on booking changes and cancellations to HOA and Brand 7.Manage digital media budget and spend closely with HOA and Head of Brand/ Brand Managers updating monthly brand spend with actuals 8.Compile payment schedules, bad debt schedules and share with the HOA on daily basis to ensure all accounts are managed and kept up-to date 9.Liaise with finance on payment plans and flag any matters of urgency with the relevant stakeholders10.Reporting and analysis conduct weekly/ monthly reports to HOA and other stakeholders on effectiveness of digital media mix
