MRM Building Solutions & Steel is seeking to recruit a Human Resource Business Partner. The candidate must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate high integrity and professional ethics and make decisions on the role in a prudent manner. Overall Purpose of the Position: Responsible for the formulation and implementation of people and organization development strategies in support of business objectives. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function - workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, policy interpretation and compliance, performance management and talent management - to deliver value-added services to management and employees. Partner with line management in execution of HR strategy in line with the business objectivesAct as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation striving to lead mutual processes to best practice status.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policiesProvide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planningManage talent acquisition process in partnership with the hiring manager and ensures efficiency in turn-around timeCoordinate induction and onboarding of new hires in consultation with the hiring managerProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management including but not limited to coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actionsManage and resolve complex employee relations issues for sustainable industrial tranquilityWork closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvide HR policy guidance and interpretationEvaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for the design and execution of employee engagement programsPartner with payroll and benefits administration to ensure compliance and efficiency in service deliveryTogether with Learning and Development identify training needs for the business unit and formulate training plansParticipate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure that the objectives are metPartner with the leadership and learning and development team to grow the capacity of key talents and high potentials (HIPOs)
