We are the destination of choice for local and international entertainment, a place where viewers can come together to set their imaginations free. The incumbent would be required to oversee the team of Marketing Intelligence Specialist who are responsible for supporting the sales teams by arming with media consumption information and facts and providing go to market presentations for them to go out and sell airtime. To train and educate the sales teams with media industry information with regards to viewing behaviour and viewing patterns, trended competitor analysis and all information that is relevant pertaining to TV viewing.1.Team Supervision, Performance and DevelopmentPlanning, scheduling, coordinating and supervising subordinate activities to ensure efficiency and achievement of goals. Participating in people development initiatives such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to ensure team performance meet required standards. Facilitating new hire induction and training. Assessing team development needs and close gaps. Actively monitor and gather market intelligence to share with sales and train teams.Coaching subordinates by explaining how and what must be done to ensure appropriate team development.2. Research Understanding research and analysing data using specialist industry resources.Receiving, understanding, analysing and making industry research available to relevant sales staff and presenting finding to relevant stakeholders. Evaluating effectiveness of campaigns in order to inform future campaigns.Monitoring, tracking and analysing all competitor activity.Identifying target audience/s and analysing their characteristics, behavior and media habits.Providing updates on all CPP deals.Identify ways in which to retain existing business, and source new business.Identifying target audience and analyse their characteristics, behavior and media habits.3.Monitor Marketing IntelligenceSupply competitor information, media landscape, audience insights, and brand insights information to sales department to relevant internal stakeholders in order to retain and grow business.Compile and submit reports to the Chief Commercial Officer, Group Head of Sales and other reports that may be required from time to time.Proactively identify trends that may affect current or potential revenue streams across channels.Prepare and submit media landscape updates to relevant internal stakeholders. Determine market trends and analysis.Provide input to support marketing strategy.Checking the output of all work that leaves the MI department.4.Client Liaison Managing Account Executive (AE) and client/agency relationships to build respect and trust in your judgment.Attending client/agency meetings, with AEs. Attending external meetings such as BRC, Telmar, and The Nielsen Company.
