Operational Reporting Developer & ETL Specialist

The main responsibility is developing and enhancing complex reports requirements by the business for the core banking and other business applications. The incumbent will be responsible to perform ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) within other core systems that uses the data feed from the Core banking system. Participates in development and support projects to design, implement, modify and optimise reportsPerforms database monitoring and reporting tasks including reviewing daily loading logs, ensuring data integrity, monitoring system event and error logs, monitoring disk drive space available to databases and transaction logs, and helping control and monitor user access and activity levels.Writes stored procedures, ORACLE views, triggers and scripts.Works with application specialist and/or vendors to develop and maintain data warehouses.Ensure uptime on all reporting portalsEnsure all data feeds from Core systems to external systems are completed within agreed timelines.Documents non-routine procedures, workarounds and solutions.Designs scripts and reports, using the Groups report writing tools
