The role of the Digital Delivery Lead is to ensure the execution of all planned digital solutions through the digital lifecycle (Ideation, Commerciality assessment, Build, Operationalise, Sales, Delivery, Post-delivery) to ultimately drive sales.The role supports the Head of FS technology in driving/operationalising the functions strategy, through the execution of a comprehensive FS Technology digital pursuit program. Main Duties and Responsibilities:Build and execute on the FS Technology technical sales role by understanding available and developing digital products.Apply business development techniques to enable local and global selling activities including:-Equipping South African partners (based on their digital fitness) to explore digital products within their existing client base.-Networking across the internal and external digital value chain-Developing and owning the business development material to enable the business to win assurance related and managed services projectsLead the sales process from opportunity identification through to signed commercial agreements between clients and BDO member firms (South Africa and others)Lead sales processes and pitches and be client facing by technically understanding all digital products and servicesExecute on the digital communication plan and constantly update the planOperationalise the innovation processShadow the Head of FST and executing on his mandate Own key client relationships internally, externally and globallyProvide input into the digital delivery modelMonitor delivery (quality and timeliness)Drive customer satisfaction surveys and feedback loops into the digital delivery teamOwn key partnerships with fintechs where we are looking to increase our digital offering.Integrate with the people change team and operationalise their recommendations into the overall digital solutions processWork closely with the marketing team to drive the B -Digital brand in line with the BDO brandWork closely with the marketing team to manage key launch eventsKey interface with the marketing team to coordinate requirementsDeliver the overall communication plan and proactively manage stakeholders Agree, monitor and report to the Head of FS Technology agreed metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) Integrate with the CX and UI teams to drive continuous improvement of digital products and solutions
