Responsibility and accountability for the implementation of the Schemes direct sales strategies will position Medshield as a serious competitor in the DPM market in LSM 6 and higher members. This is through the accreditation of the Scheme as a fully licensed FSP, that can compare benefit options in the healthcare market. Integrate the digital and affinity distribution channels as a member growth delivery structure of Medshield activities with particular emphasis on the achievement of synergies around retail sales implementation as well as continuous improvement of own disciplines within the scheme and service quality through retention strategies. -Develop and implement effective strategies that will position the Scheme Distribution as the delivery structure of scheme distribution development activities, ensuring that all activities are underpinned by strong, relevant partnerships to deliver on key objectives: - Must observe selected meetings between the juristic representative and clients -Digital Network Channel Services strategy reflects action plans with an appropriate focus on all the business of the scheme.-Must provide evidence of supervision actions undertaken-Achievement of synergies around Medshield policy and procedure implementation at all network levels, ensuring integration with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HC strategies:-Must assess the merits of advice given in terms of the General Code of Conduct-Assist in publicity efforts, events, and promotion campaigns in the direct sales space.-Assist with Product Launches.-Provide a communication platform to all channels.-Assist with total digital channel development and manage scheme standards.-Facilitate an effective strategic planning method and process to give firm focus to the development of all the Independent, Designated and national Broker houses.-Advise management on Broker and digital network Channel services issues, ensuring that the strategic planning processes at the schemes head office, in turn, take cognizance thereof when embarking on strategic planning and operational planning processes.-Facilitate effective capacity building activities at the departmental level for Digital Network distribution activities:-Affinity channels this regard with Heads of Independents, Designated and National companies.-Facilitate network training and coaching and selection process of the accrediting scheme approved brokers.-Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls, risk prevention principles, sound governance and compliance processes, and tools to identify and manage risks.-Support and provide evidence to all internal, external, and ISO audit requirements.-Maintain quality risk management standards in line with the requirements from ISO9001:2015.-Provide management of the team to drive an effective and cohesive team by planning, assigning, and monitoring tasks aligned to deliver on performance objectives and in response to changes in processes through the effective management of divisional resources, and act as second in charge when required. -Assist in the implementation of talent acquisition, succession planning, development, and retention strategies for the division. -Assist in the enhancement of relevant knowledge and skills through continuous coaching, mentoring, and nurturing of supervised talent. -Assist in creating a high-performance culture and manage team performance effectively, and provide input into the annual performance goals and measures into individual work plans based on agreed-upon objectives.-Assist in the management of poor performance and disciplinary matters in line with the Schemes policies and procedures.-Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for expectations management, knowledge sharing, and integration. -Convene and attend meetings and present findings to relevant stakeholders when required. -Liaise with members, brokers and healthcare professionals, and 3rd parties delivering exceptional customer service. -Coordinate the communication activities at Provincial and national levels of the entire distribution organization, nurturing an environment of active integration with scheme head office practices.
