Insteel Limited is seeking to recruit a highly motivated IT AssistantMain Purpose:To effectively and efficiently provide desktop and computer hardware maintenance support to all end users within the organization. 1. Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop and other communication equipment problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed. 2. Collaborate with system administrators to ensure efficient operation of the companys desktop computing environment. 3. Prepare tests and applications for monitoring desktop performance and provide performance statistics and reports. 4. Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, network cards, and other components and equipment. 5. Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal. 6. Ensure the security of desktops, laptops, communication lines, and equipment by carrying routine audits, analysis of logs, backups and identification of potential issues with IT
