Senior Natural/Adabas System Analyst

This position was added to the existing structure Primary function is software development in Natural/Adabas on a z-series MF.Investigate user problems and needs and determine possible solutions.Compile the following:Functional Design Specification; andTechnical System Design documentation.Develop and maintain application software according to specifications.Code, test and troubleshoot program utilizing the appropriate database and programming technologyEvaluate complex inter relationships between programs and sub-systems.Perform proper unit and system testing to ensure successful system integration.Liaise with external parties.Review and approve/disapprove programme changes.Verification of program and system standards.Document programming problems and resolutions.Follow correct Change Control procedures to ensure stability in business processes during implementation.Responsible for User Support.
