Procurement Intern

The Washington State University - Global Health Kenya (WSU-GH Kenya) which is a legally registered NGO. WSU GH - Kenya serves to manage a broad range of public health research projects in Kenya supported by WSU and its collaborating partners. The WSU Research Program has the following opening: Position: Procurement Intern (1 Position)Contract duration: 6 (Six) Months (full time engagement) Position Description:The Procurement Intern will work closely and provide day-to-day procurement support to the procurement office and also gain skills and experience valuable for professional development. She/he will be supervised by the Chief Procurement Officer WSU-GH Kenya.Duties and responsibilities: Raising of purchase requisitions Consolidating purchase requisitions from users into request for quotations Populate day to day data for generating the requisite documents and reports Maintain accurate filing system for in-country purchasing documents Other procurement duties as assigned.
