Coordinator: Acceleration Services

The University of Namibia is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacant position of Coordinator: Acceleration Services under the Office of the PVC: Research, Innovation and Development, Windhoek Main Campus. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that innovative research outputs generated by UNAM researchers, students and staff are successfully transformed into prototype products, processes and services for commercialisation. The incumbent will work collaboratively with researchers and students from the development of a research project to the prototype and incubation stages that lead to commercialisation. The incumbent will be expected to assist the Director in providing high-level administrative and operational support for the effective and efficient management and administration of business functions, and also expected to assist with resource mobilisation to solicit funds for incubation and product/ prototype development.
