Team Leader: Civils
The main duty of this position is to lead teams in the installation of aerial and civil fibre projects. Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: The Coordination of all Infrastructure installation functions which include the management of small teams, the planning of the installation of aerial and civil works, as part of a team reporting to a Site Supervisor as the immediate manager. This function is performance based and will refer to specific targets that must be achieved in order to meet job requirements. This entails the following activities: o Arranging and Scheduling of Aerial pole planting, aerial fibre stringing as well as all civil works Project Teams o Arranging and Scheduling Installations o Managing Team Tools for installations o Ensure Quality Installations. o Manage installation spending to ensure savings. o Continuous Progress Reporting to Site Managers. o On-site Client Liaison o Stock / Material Management and distribution thereof o Quickly determine implementation priorities o Ensure that all installation Risks are identified and communicated with the team and site managers. o Tracking resource use and progress against daily targets and completing Timesheets o Ensure that Health and Safety Rules are always adhered to and that site and workers are safe. o Sign and complete Job Cards o Vehicle and Tool Management all damages and losses must be reported immediately
