To recruit, maintain and develop sales representative and brokers and set targets 1.Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan Develop an integrated sales & marketing plan Implement and align marketing plan with regional plan and submit to management Review and update strategic plan on a regular basicCompile report on progress made on strategic planCommunicate strategic plan to sales representatives2.Perform recruitment and selection process for sales representativeAdvertise and market representative positions through presentationsSelect applicants in accordance with FSCA requirements implementation of assessment selection battery3.Conduct training to sales representative Facilitate the pre-course and post-course trainingResponsible for on-the-job assessment of representatives4.Conduct coaching processGive technical support and motivation to representativesCoach representatives on improving their selling skills Provide recognition through performance management system5.Conduct training to brokersEnsure brokers are equipped with sufficient office documentation e.g. application formsHandle administration queries on behalf of dedicated brokersCheck business methods of dedicated brokers and advise accordinglyUpdate brokers on Assupol products and services regularlyEnsure computer software of brokers are up to date in respect of Assupol products and servicesBuild professional business relationships with brokers6.Identity and develop new and current marketsIdentify, penetrate and develop new marketsNegotiate stop order marketsMaintain contacts with key decision makers and insurance industry resources (new and existing)Retain and increase market share in existing marketsManage the business retentionConduct products presentations in the market 7.Maintain production targets and retain businessEnsure and monitor set production targets are achieved Maintain business retention8.Comply with FAIS requirementsSupervise representative when rendering services under supervision Submit supervision evidence to MSSI on a monthly basisMentor and train supervisee to ensure that they have a proper understanding of productsObserve meetings between representative and clients9.ComplianceComplaintsNumber of complaints Received Number of complaint referred for investigation (Forensic)Number of complaints referred for Debarment Hearing based on outcome from debarment CommitteeTraining and Awareness Refresher Training New Product TrainingRecord of AdviceFinancial Needs AnalysisCompletion of the application forms10.OtherAdhere to code of conductAdhere to TCFComply with risk and audit requirementsDisplay the values and cultureProvide leadership to your team to assist them in achieving their target
