Finance Clerk

NACOSA is a network of community organisations working together to turn the tide on HIV, AIDS, TB and gender-based violence (GBV) in Southern Africa. Our programmes work to reduce the impact of HIV, AIDS, TB and GBV and contribute to the global strategy to bring about the end of AIDS by 2030. In line with South Africas National Strategic Plan and UNAIDS 90-90-90 Fast Track targets, NACOSA focuses on young women and girls, sex workers, people who inject drugs, those most affected by gender-based violence, children and youth, and other vulnerable and key populations.NACOSA has a position of a Finance Clerk to form part of the finance team. This position will be on a contract basis, up to 12 Months. The role:Process purchases, sales, receipts, and payments on Sage Evolution.Translate financial transactions from QuickBooks to Sage and captureCapturing all Project Financial transactions on the Sage Evolution.Reconciliations of cash and cash equivalents accountsReconciliation of control accounts (debtors, creditors, projects.)Prepare and process monthly and repeating journals in Sage EvolutionMaintain Projects in EvolutionGeneral finance and accounting duties as may be needed from time to timeUphold and exemplify NACOSA, its vision, mission, values, and objectives, etc.Ensure adherence to HR NACOSA policies and procedures
