Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital (SKMTH) is the first quaternary hospital in Botswana whose mandate is to provide high-quality patient-centred clinical care, medical education, and health research. The institution is a state of the art facility that provides both specialty and subspecialty services. The institution is registered as a company limited by guarantee wholly owned by the Government of Botswana established under the Companies Act Cap 42:01.Over the past year we have seen Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital continue to play a leading role in the fight against COVID-19 in Botswana as the high-care referral centre for COVID-19 patients, a feat that is illustrative of the Hospitals commitment and mandate to become a centre of excellence in health care services. Main Purpose: To provide support and advice on nutrition-related matters with the aim of improving patient health.
