The above position has become available at Triton Express Johannesburg, reporting to the National Sales Manager. Business Planning and Development:Proactive approach in servicing clientsDeveloping and updating competitors service offeringsGathering market intelligence / information in terms of freight service opportunities, competitor activities and reports accordinglyDetermining customer needs and demonstrate Triton Express services to them to suit their requirements, adding value to their business and formally present the business proposalNegotiating prices and price increasesWorking on continuously improving marketing strategiesAchieving agreed sales targetsPlanning, organizing, follow-up and effectively communicating progress to clientsInputting of work to optimize the operations department capabilityEffective management of PENTAGON system & processesPlanning weekly/monthly visitationsAuctioning existing business strategiesMaintaining client services and sales volumes by:Handling client enquires, queries, problems and facilitating resolutionsConducting monthly and weekly service call visitationsCourtesy calls and follow up callsIdentifying and capitalizing on service / sale extension opportunitiesAdvising rate increases and processing procedural changesBuilding client relationships at all levelsScheduling and maintaining client visitation rosterIdentifying client sales volume declines and implementing corrective actionGaining additional business within the existing business portfolioSales Administration:Monitoring client activityPreparing monthly visitation reportsEnsuring that all information from sales is detailed and accurateGenerating accurate quotes for all work requirementsPreparing / submitting weekly existing business reportsPreparing recommended proposals and rate adjustments for Sales Managers approvalPresenting CSA reports to clients monthlyUpdating meeting minutes client visitationsQuality Assurance:Ensuring all necessary measures are in place to guarantee customer satisfaction
