Supply Chain - Procurement Graduate
Purpose:The purpose of this role is to assist to t to offer an opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in the Procurement and Stores department assisting with receiving, dispatching, and updating all records into the system to ensure accuracy. You will also be providing assistance to the Buyers when procuring goods and services that are essential to the businesss operations.You will be reporting to the Procurement Manager. Responsibilities:Working with Receipting, Despatching, Inventory Management and maintaining quality as per company rulesMaintain a good working relationship with management and fellow colleaguesFiling of documents such as invoices, delivery notes, etcData capturing on ERP systemAllocation of receipts to correct cost centresAssist in monitoring stock against agreed inventory levels and re-order as requiredAssist in producing reports when requestedFollow procedure for unpacking and storing of contents of the storesContribute to the compilation of stores operational proceduresAssist in communicating the companys expectations to the suppliers.Work with the Planners and Buyers to track, control and optimise stock levels and excel and obsolete material.Assist the Buyers with requesting samples from suppliers to ensure that the product that is delivered meets the product requirements/specifications.Processing of orders on the ERP system Assist the team and receive purchase requisitions from our internal customers to ensure that processes and controls are adhered to.Key relationships:Procurement and Stores Department Middle ManagersOperators and SupervisorsExternal Relationships:Service Providers External Consultants
