We are looking for suitable qualified individuals to fill in a position for Educational Technical assistant in Pemba. Generic responsibilitiesThese responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. 1. Adhere to companys policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines, with strict adherence to the Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding policies2. Assist with a range of support for the implementation of the Education portfolio3. Implement procedures and activities within EiE as delegated4. Responsible for organization and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards5. Develop and maintain knowledge of EiE technical assistance and provide support 6. Use initiative in day to day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities and standards for the area of work7. Ensure proper filing of documents 8. Prepare and develop status reports and other documents as required by management9. Promote the rights of refugees, IDPs, returnees and the host community in-line with SPHERE and INEE Minimum Standards10. Promote and share ideas for project and activity improvement Specific responsibilities These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly. Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need using vulnerability criteria to support learner registration 2 Provide daily support to education incentive staff and teachers in line with programme objectives and company quality standards Ensure direct communication and feedback with beneficiaries and stakeholders at field level, with a focus on community leaders, headmasters/principals, teachers and students Lead in mobilization and sensitization of community members Assist with capacity building activities for beneficiaries, with a focus on teachers Organize, support and participate in Mothers Groups, PTAs, School Improvement Plans and School-Based Management Committees Regularly travel to the field to support education/PSS interventions and classroom/WASH construction activities; monitor and ensure regular needs for supplies are met Organize and implement distributions of teaching and learning supplies and materials; maintain records of commodity movements and secure appropriate supporting documents Ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting of project outputs/outcomes at field level per the M&E plan and donor requirements Ensure complaints and feedback response mechanism is in place at field level Ensure schools and learning spaces are safe for children and report all protection concerns immediately Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the line and/or technical manager
