Assumes overall authority and accountability for the procedures to achieve efficiency in the Material requirements planning, Scheduling, Receiving, Storage, Issuing and Distribution processes. Roles & Responsibilities:Ensure the receipt, storage and issuing of material complies with requirements for safety, accessibility and legalityControl stock levelsManage stock countsEnsure that facility equipment is properly maintainedSupervise employees performance objectives to ensure alignment with overall Materials Management objectives Ensure that IDPs are linked to performance review outcomes Coach and train team members to improve performanceCompile accurate reports on time in order to monitor the performance of the teamAssign duties to warehouse team as needed to complete tasks in a timely and efficient mannerObserve health and safety regulations, maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly conditionDiesel Reconciliations - Diesel recon updated daily and sent to Procurement ManagerKnowledge and understanding of systems, processes and best practices:Materials ManagementWarehouse Management Inventory Control Adhere to policies and procedures and manage the systems necessary for effective management of the Stores operation.Oversee stock counts and general stock controlGenerate information and reports for internal and external useParticipate and comply with Safety and Health tool box Comply to Legislation as set out in the MH&S Act and to organisational standards
