To operate and maintain the Blister Machine Follow instructions given by Production Leader or supervisor/manager.Perform shift handover discussion to discuss batch or machine specific matters with operator from previous shift.Verify machine consumables meet specific batch requirements and are acceptable to run through machine. Immediately report any anomalies noticed to Production Leader.Maintain and promote efficiency and productivity of subordinates through principles of good supervision to include:-Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting team KPIs (output, downtime, lost time etc.)-Take corrective actionsCarries out short interval production control checksExamine machinery at the beginning of each shift to ensure it is in good working order.Perform change overs to different products and formats.Perform setup of machine for particular product and format.Ensure cleaning standards as per operating procedures are maintained.Operate machine and make required adjustments to meet quality requirements.Continuously monitor operation and perform in-process checks on produced units; adjust if required.Ensure daily target is metEnsure all procedures are properly followed and that all required documentation is complete and accurate.Assist in reconciling in-process and finished product packaging and batch recording procedures.Problem solve by performing root cause analysis for normal machine/operational malfunctions and correct.Immediately report and engage with technician on advanced mechanical, electrical or automation failures. Participate in correction.Perform basic reactive and scheduled maintenance on equipment and participate in monthly and annual Maintenance Shutdowns. Identify and correct shortcomings in preventative maintenance program resulting in unexpected failures through engagement with Technicians and other maintenance personnel.Train identified personnel on all related items relevant to operation and maintenance of the equipment.From time to time perform other roles within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent
