Through its pioneering work in the research and promotion of biomedical interventions, CHAPS has successfully implemented and disseminated sustainable evidence-based health solutions throughout South Africa and the region ResponsibilitiesClinical ServicesProvides overall support for clinical team at facility level by using clinical skills in collaboration with the cutterEffectively provides MMC services for clients including screening, history taking, male circumcision- surgical procedure, intra and post-operative care and any other clinically related activities at the facility by delegating staff and being hands-on when neededEstablishing clinical protocols and other clinical requirements at facility level in collaboration with the clinical team and the head of operations and the Department of HealthEnsure clinical services provided are within the national quality assurance requirements. Respond to quality audits to rectify any developmental areas identifiedReporting Providing detailed adverse events reporting immediately after management Ensure that the adverse event report has been completed by the cutter and submitted to and that ongoing reports are submitted until the patient is dischargedEnsure that all administrative data has been reported to the correct departments at the due date
