Watu Wetu SAS is a company incorporated under Congolese law operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Watu Wetu SAS comprises three facilities, namely the Watu Wetu Clinic in Mumi,the Watu Wetu site in the city and the Watu Wetu Hospital in KCC. With additional services provided by third-party health care facilities for employees and dependents located in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa, as well as for people referred to specialized treatment not available in Kolwezi. Watu Wetu SAS provides health services to a population of about 60,000 people. Under the direct supervision of the DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL, the incumbent of the position will have the role of providing professional leadership and guidance to the medical staff of Watu Wetu. It will ensure that all medical services and patient care provided by medical personnel meet appropriate standards in terms of medical quality in accordance with the International SOS guidelines and best medical practice.It will have the following main responsibilities:-Implement and monitor Int standards. SOS, and best medical practices for each department; -Provide leadership to technical administrative staff and advice on ethical issues; -Provide recommendations on the project vector control program and initiatives in close relationship with the control team as well as the customer management team; -Support the occupational health service by implementing internal systems and processes toimprove service delivery; -Develop an individual annual development plan for physicians;-Conduct regular audits in each department and department, and develop an action plan to address any gaps identified during these audits;-Regularly participate in medical case examinations and provide useful advice and recommendations;-Develop key performance indicators(KPIs) for each medical department head of department and monitor the achievement of these KPIs; -Review the occupational health medical surveillance program of hospitals to ensure compliance with client standards and applicable legislation;-Develop an annual improvement plan for the services and benefits provided to clients at the hospital.
