Senior Manager Projects & Processes
The position will became vacant due to a resignation Responsible for the interpretation of the business strategy into the integrated business process, technology, information and application architectural framework.Ensures that business application requirements are effectively and efficiently managed.Enables efficiencies, including changes required to the business processes, people skills, resources and competencies, organisation structure, and enabling technology.Applying development management technologies and methodologies such as Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) e.g. Agile, Waterfall or other pattern, practices and development frameworks.Creates a framework that sets and manages clear and realistic expectations of what information and communication technology can offer in terms of the organisation's value chain for the delivery of products and services and delivery mechanisms.Responsible for complex systems process analysis, design and simulation. Focus is on process analysis and reengineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environments.May act as project manager in some cases.Manage and monitor strategic projects through the following actions:Responsible for overall project management controls;Responsible for the compilation of work documents as well as a work analysis structure;Close projects by transferring such to the project owners and ensuring sign-off;Prepare and review the necessary client and management reports; andMonitor project progress against timelines and take remedial actions where necessary.Responsible for business process management through the following actions:Ensure JAD and business analysis sessions are inclusive and productive;Ensure functional testing takes place in accordance with required methodologies;Business process mapping;Business process improvement;Effective change management to support process owners and users;Monitor and control processes;Advise and execute on functional organisational structuring; andCompile operational plans and budgets to execute the portfolios strategy as approved by the Board of Trustees.Compile, implement, manage and comply with, the IT Governance Charter and IT Governance framework.
