We have an exciting job opportunity at Barron for a Quality Control Manager who will be reporting to the Production Manager. The position is based in Westlake. Job Purpose The purpose of the Quality Control Manager is to oversee and manage the quality control processes and procedures to ensure adherence to established quality compliance and standards. JOB OBJECTIVESQuality Control Management Responsible for all in process quality audits and compiling of quality audit reports.Required to develop quality standards and processes and regularly updated based on industry trends and business requirements. Responsible for investigating quality issues and resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently and effectively.Required to roll out Quality Control standards and processes across all relevant stakeholders and provide necessary training of quality compliance. Accountable for reviewing, updating and ensuring compliance of Quality Control policies and procedures. Conduct random audits on QC samples to verify quality according to company standardsResolve escalated Quality Control queries or problems and report to the Production Manager Investigate quality assurance problems and develop and implement solutions. Identify opportunities for enhancement of quality policies, standards and controls for potential improvements in training and communication programs.Reporting and Monitoring Accountable for completing and monitoring the Non-Compliance Report (NCR) and introducing initiatives which will mitigate Non-Compliance. Develop and disseminate appropriate quality management reports.Preparation of monthly and quarterly Quality Management ReportsPeople ManagementPrioritize the work of employees based on deadlines and urgencies and monitor and track their daily outputs. Responsible for conducting skills audits and closing skills gaps through on-the-job training.Responsible for Performance Management, IR and Recruitment and Selection of staff.Health and SafetyResponsible for the adherence to company safety policies and procedures in area and required to take action to ensure that these standards are met.
