The RF Team Leader is responsible for his entire team of RF Engineers, and to support and lead them in planning, maintenance, and health of the entire wireless network Leadership: Lead and manage a team. Manage team performance. Clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to team members and supply employees with the resources required to perform. Adhere to and re-enforce the company policies, procedures and practices at all times. Support, Motivate and give feedback to the team. Grow and develop team members and encourage team members to do training as and when required. Onboard new recruits effective and efficiently. Lives and promotes the Herotel values and culture. Monitoring: Doing PtMP (point o multi point) analytics on a regular basis and set up schedules.Doing PTP (point to point) analytics at least every 2 months.Do proactive frequency analysis on all sites.Proactively via network monitoring, identify where problems might occur and act before clients services get impacted.Planning: Plan everything to be done on the wireless network in detail, from frequency changes to complete new build. Collaboration:High site Tech support: Assist High site technicians with alignments, tilts etc.Installer support: Responsible for the link quality of each install on the network. Calculate each signal for every new install as well as alignments. If target cannot be reached, find fault either at HS or install, plan how to fix.Helpdesk support & skills transfer: Assist helpdesk with problem tickets, train and advise helpdesk on RF related issues.Root cause anaclasis and fault finding: Be able to do root cause analysis, fix the problem first time through proper planning.Provide installers and high site technicians with detailed scope of work to be performed.Coordinate change management with Access Network, NOC and Helpdesk or any relevant stream.Manage:Manage and organize the day-to-day operation of the RF team: Tilting sectors, add APs/ Upgrade AP backhaul alignment.Configuration of equipment.Preform link budget on point-to-point links to achieve desired availability and throughput.Keep recorded documentation of any changes made to the network up to date.Adhoc tasks as operationally required
