Generates a cost effective and viable daily distribution plan for ones allocated region/s in order to enable SBV CIT to deliver sustainable service levels. Assist operations in the overall effective management of CIT Operations in line with SBV strategy. Responsible for daily route planning Daily route planning. Plan routes and assess their viability in line with the costing done by the Finance Business Partner Adhere to the stipulated insurance agreements and SOPs. Monitor, manage and report the effectiveness of routes through applicable systems. Advise and provide visibility to the CIT Manager on what the daily demand and a work schedules Validate planned vs actual operational execution in conjunction with the control room, escalating deviations to management and re-plan when needed. Verify and obtain authorisation of unplanned routes from CIT Management team. Engage with centre CIT Management team to verify model integrity, optimal planning process and adherence. Coordinate system support between internal SBV Support and external technology vendors. Manage the interfacing process with IT in respect of data availability, workflow and service levels. Engage with the CIT Team Controllers regarding any discrepancies and follow-up on service point information. Analyse trend reports to identify inefficiencies within Logistics execution and recommend suggestions/improvements. Provide reports as per agreed templates and timeframes Provide support for the implementation and execution of relevant change initiativesResponsible for integrating new business, mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing agreements into existing infrastructure Analyse the new business demands and establish the most cost effective and efficient way to integrate into new or existing routes Responsible for providing Finance Business Partners with accurate information to update route costing. Provide input into strategic planning engagements and models.Relationship management and billing query resolution Build and Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships Gather and consolidate feedback to Support Office Billing department when required. Provide Billing Department on which model, services were rendered. Confirm the distance/bands to be used for billing for new branches or changes to existing IBTs / branches / CCs Provide Billing Department with a report indicating any route changesProvide leadership to employees within the organisation, creating a winning culture and high moraleLead as an Ambassador and executor of Change Act as a change management architect in periods of change to ensure continuity to operations Manage the integration of CIT and Processing into a seamless end to end solution for customers Effectively communicate and embed new processes and procedures as they occur addressing or escalating matters / concerns to the SMEs (subject matter experts) when required Facilitate the necessary presentations, workshops or forums in order to ensure consistent and accurate communication is given across ones centre/sPeople Management Provide leadership to employees within SBV Creates a conducive environment which translates into productivity and high morale within SBV Inspire ones team to deliver on key performance areas Adhere to legislative requirements and Group policies and procedures Leading the focus on talent to instil value creation for high value contributors. Manage ones headcount in alignment with the principles and policies of SBV on a monthly basis. Inclusive of notifying HR of team cancellations, new business and new initiatives with the relevant documentation /approvals Preside over disciplinary hearings on behalf of SBV in alignment with statutory requirements and the policies & procedures of SBV Lead and manage the Talent Management Process within ones centre / s Lead and manage the end to end performance management process of employees Adhere to legislative requirements, company policies and procedures in respect of employment Health and safety practices Manage overtime / illegal overtime of ones centre/s through proper planning and staff rotation inclusive of driving the time and attendance system within ones centre/s Responsible for employees to undergo the relevant training inclusive of any mandatory refreshers in conjunction with the Training Academy Draft and execute training plans in conjunction with the Training Academy Responsible for the leave management within ones area.Drive the organisation culture Drive the departments values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement, enthusiasm and commitment towards the mission.
